The Rhythm of Color & The Moving Landscape

“The landscape is always moving.” This observation by David Hockney is the heartbeat of my studio practice. To me, art is not about freezing a moment in time, but about capturing the continuous flow of emotion, colour, and energy that surrounds us.

Working primarily in acrylics, I explore the dialogue between bold shapes and fluid transitions. Whether I am painting on the traditional texture of canvas, the organic grain of wood panels, or the intimate pages of my sketchbooks, my goal remains the same: to translate the intangible “feeling” of an environment into a visual language.

My process is deeply rhythmic, often fueled by the intersection of Sound and Vision. This month, as I celebrate the legacy and transformative genius of David Bowie, my work reflects that same spirit of reinvention. Just as music moves through us, my paintings seek to record the shifting landscapes of the human experienceโ€”ever-changing, vibrant, and full of life.

I invite you to explore these movements with me.
